Biography
Ashlyn C. Walden is a Senior Lecturer at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Ph.D. candidate in Clemson University’s Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design program. Her research focuses on the intersection of digital composition, accessibility, disability rhetorics, and writing-to-learn. She teaches courses on empirical research methods and digital design, actively mentors faculty in disability advocacy and course design, and is the co-author of the book ACCESS: Accessible Course Construction for Every Student’s Success (Routledge, 2025).
